Long Sutton Cricket Club
Latterly, the Club has invested in encouraging more women to join the Club, which has culminated in a Ladies team that plays in tournaments around the county. We are very excited that for the 2023 season, we will be welcoming a disability section to the Club supported by 2 of our coaches who are qualified to support the cricketing needs of those with disabilities.
DBS approved Level 1 and Level 2 ECB qualified coaches are trained and utilised by the Club.
Senior training takes place during the season on Tuesday evenings, whilst youth players train on a Wednesday evening and the juniors and ladies practice on a Friday evening – when we often hold a BBQ.

Long Sutton Cricket Club was formed in 1972 and so celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2022.
We are a friendly local club offering excellent cricketing opportunities to all regardless of age, gender, or ability.
The Club fields two senior teams in the Somerset County Cricket League on a Saturday during the summer together with a Sunday T20 XI. The Club boasts a vibrant youth section with teams represented from Under 11 age group upwards; and a Dynamos section from 5yrs up to 10yrs of age.
2023 and 2024 will be particularly exciting for the Club as we support the Village Hall Committee and Parish Council in extending and refurbishing the pavilion. This collaborative approach is vital in bring this high-value project to fruition and we will do "our bit" in raising as much money as possible to put towards the project
